Introduction

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is the growth engine of the Indian Economy. SMEs contribute 45% of industrial output, 40% of exports and produce more than 8000 quality products for the Indian and International markets. SMEs always depend upon the local products, raw material and semi finished goods to fulfil their procurement and consumption for manufacturing, assembling or to produce various bi-products. SME Sector constantly struggles to get raw material and supply of other products from genuine suppliers, at competitive costs and better quality. Of course, many SMEs are not able to identify or source quality products at competitive costs from local and global markets because of connectivity, knowledge, lack of information about manufacturers / suppliers.
